The newspaper Örnsköldsviks Allehanda created a service that sent SMS from Santa to friends, parents, children etc. Well, whom ever you wanted to get a surprise from Santa.
- We created the service in one day and launched one and a half day before Christmas. It was a little short of time which meant that the service only sent 75 SMS, says Johan Sandström, developer at Örnsköldsviks Allehanda.
- But it was extremely popular, especially of those who got an SMS from Santa.
The service is an example how you can use the possibility of sending an SMS with alphanumeric sender. And in a funny way.
- This Christmas we shall market the service in good time so that more people get an SMS from Santa. Who doesn´t want that? says Johan.
